HOLLAND@CERN(Published 2016-06- by Theo Hooft)Together with many other Dutch High Tech companies we participated in the HOLLAND@CERN Event and exhibition in Geneva. I was impressed by the technologies and accomplishments at CERN and many new to come from the challenging new BIG SCIENCE initiatives underway which will bring us not only insights in the first seconds of existence of the universe but also unlimited energy ( Fusion ) and help us fighting cancer ( Medipix).I was a little disappointed to learn that Dutch students are lacking interest to spend some time at CERN. Lets change that! If you are a student and you want to spend some time in Geneva or Grenoble, contact CERN (hr-dep.web.cern.ch)
Obama, Merkel & Steered in Hannover(Published 2016-05- by Theo Hooft)We were very lucky to participate to the Hannover Messe as part of the Holland High Tech pavilion. Innovative ways to produce electricity, the smallest desktop SEM, the Delft university rocket reaching new heights, data centre 3d temperature / air speed measurement and Server on a board architecture for big data are a couple of the innovations surrounding us. We were showing our high speed flex, ribbon coax and discrete coax assemblies for demanding applications. Very happy to see the politicians show interest in how technology can drive economy. Thank you Holland High Tech and the BIG SCIENCE team!
